The
Cadet Choir hosts singers ages 6-8, in a
beginning level choral experience. The children sing quality unison
literature and learn the fundamentals of healthy singing and music
reading. The goal is to provide a nurturing environment so that
children can experience the joy of choral singing while they prepare
for a more advanced choral challenge.
The Yearly Highlights will include:
A Holiday Concert in December at
Cowan Hall.
Sing at the Annual Christmas Tree
lightening in Westerville.
Occasional special appearances. In December
of 2005 the choirs appeared in the "Merry Tuba Christmas" at the City Center.
Spring concert in April.
A week of day camp in the summer, which
includes voice lessons, choral lessons, drama, folk dance, music theory and most
important FUN!!!
The choirs offer:
Convenient Monday night practice time.
Cadet Choir will meet from 6-6:50 PM at the Church of the Master.
Voice training.
Music Theory Lessons.
Exposure to songs in several languages.
Special theme nights like pajama night
or ice cream socials.
Make new friends. The choirs boast students
from a variety of public, private and home-schools in Central Ohio.
Learn confidence and poise on stage.
