The Concert
Choir members range from 9-12 years old with more musical experience. The
Concert singers perform unison, two-part and three-part
literature and continue to refine vocal and choral techniques and
music reading skills as they rehearse and perform more challenging
choral literature.
The Yearly Highlights will include:
A
Holiday Concert in December.
A Spring Concert
in April.
July 2006 Concert Choir members will travel to the Pacific
Rim Children's Chorus Festival.
Occasional
special appearances. The 2002 season featured a performance in
Vaudvillities.
A
week of Summer Institute in the July, which includes voice lessons, choral
lessons, drama, folk dance, music theory and most important FUN!!!
  
The choir offers:
Convenient Monday night practice
time. Concert Choir will rehearse from 7:00 to 8:15PM at the Church of the
Master.
Music Theory Lessons.
Exposure to songs in several languages.
Make new friends. The choirs members attend a variety of public,
private and home-schools in Central Ohio.
Encourage the person growth of choir members and promote
their sense of self worth, self esteem, accomplishment and pride.
